NOC announces return of the production at the second ammonia and second urea plants of the Libyan Fertilizer Company.

Tripoli, 10 August 2022 (Lana) the National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced return of the production at the second ammonia and second urea plants of the Libyan Fertilizer Company after stopping more than 70 days.
According to a statement on the SMS page of the NOC , the company will start operating the first ammonia plant, during next few days , and operate the second urea plant with a daily production rate of 1487 metric tons..
The Libyan Fertilizer Company is the new name of the Libyan-Norwegian Fertilizer Company after the ownership of the urea and ammonia factories in the company was completely returned to the Libyan state by 75% to the NOC ,and 25% to the Libyan Investment Institution.
