The New Board of Directors of the NOC holds its first meeting headed by Farhat Bengdara.

Tripoli 20 July 2022 (Lana) The New Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation "NOC' headed by Farhat Bengdara ,the Chairman of Board of Directors ,held a meeting in Tripoli yesterday attended by directors of the oil companies ,during which progress of the oil sector and its subsidiaries was discussed, and ways to develop the production and reach high rates as soon as possible.

Bengdara stressed the board's commitment to restore NOC production levels and reach high rate as soon as possible, after the lifting of force majeure, especially in the fields of gas production supplied to power stations ,in order to alleviate the citizen's suffering from electricity outages and reduce the hours of load-shedding. Bengdara gave his instructions to Al Brega oil company to quickly work on solutions for areas that suffer from shortage of fuel.

Bengdara confirmed the need to provide a suitable environment to the workers , raise their efficiency ensure the application safety procedures and preserve the environment ,and pay attention to spatial development programs, as a basis for achieving security and social stability ,in areas of oil operations, stressing the Board's intention to make a qualitative leap in developing the sector in partnership with international institutions.
