 Tripoli, 20 July, 2022 (Lana) - The US Embassy in Libya has joined the United Nations Support Mission in Libya in praising the progress made in the security track towards unifying the military institution.

In a tweet, Wednesday, the embassy said, “The United States joins its voice with the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, in praising the progress made in the Libyan security track towards a unified military institution thanks to the efforts of Lt. General Al-Haddad and Lt. General Al-Nadori, as well as the Joint Military Committee (5+ 5)».

"The United States continues to support the full implementation of the October 2020 ceasefire agreement, including the withdrawal of all foreign forces, foreign fighters, and mercenaries," it added.
