Tripoli, 14 July, 2022 (Lana) - The Prime Minister-designate of the House of Representatives, Fathi Bashagha, has attributed his participation in the British Parliament session to strengthen relations with the main international allies. Bashagha posted a tweet on his "Twitter account", saying that "strengthening relations with the main international allies is among the most important points raised by the roadmap towards recovery that it set for the advancement of Libya, and for this reason I met yesterday with the British Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs."

He added: "The UK and Libya have fought side by side against ISIS in Libya, and I have met the British Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee to review my roadmap to recovery and highlight our sacrifices for security."

Pashagha gave a speech during his participation in the British Foreign Affairs Committee session last Tuesday, entitled “Libya’s security, foreign policy and the road map towards recovery.” In his speech, the Prime Minister-designate of the House of Representatives expressed his aspiration for Britain to support his government and to play a “distinguished role” in this regard and to work with it to build “stronger” relations between Libya and the United Kingdom, warning of the danger of the current situation in Libya on Europe. .
