Celebrating World Population Day, Ministry of Social Affairs confirms its intention to work to give People of Libya fair opportunity, progress and decent life.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 12 July 2022 (Lana) GNU Ministry of Social Affairs celebrated the World Population Day, which falls on July 11, 2022, as a special occasion to promote awareness of population issues and their relationship to the environment and development, especially as the world's population is on the threshold of reaching 8 billion people by 2030.
The Ministry confirmed in a statement its interaction with this year's slogan, which is keeping pace with this event, and makes eight billion people for eight billion opportunities towards a flexible future for all and for working for life, for creativity, and for rights and duties.
The Ministry pointed out that it celebrates the occasion with the peoples of the world despite the negative controversy of the figures, regarding the population growth in Libya, as a result of wars and conflicts, which intervened negatively on the course of population growth and the nature of the real concern of young people in building the country, stressing that it stands strongly to record efforts towards reconciliation, peace and stability desired by the homeland, and to give the people of Libya all a fair chance to live decently and with continued progress.
At the end of its statement, the Ministry of Social Affairs said that it celebrates in particular the integration of groups under its care, into the system of work, life and creativity, through the launch of the “Jusoor” Project, the platform that will make a turning point in the programs connecting these groups, whether in the labour market, or in a direct relationship with society and with the state.
