EU Ambassador to Libya considers yesterday's demonstrations evidence of people's desire for change through elections.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 2 July 2022 (Lana) EU Ambassador to Libya Jose Sabadell considered Friday’s demonstrations in a number of Libyan cities a confirmation of the people's desire for change through elections, calling for their voices to be heard, and for these protests to be peaceful. "We are closely following the events across Libya, which confirmed that the people want change through elections, and their voices must be heard," Ambassador José Sabadell said in a tweet. Sabadell said protests should take place peacefully, without any kind of violence, and called for restraint, especially in light of the fragile situation.
