Pashagha to the Italian Envoy: government will protect stability of the country and hold presidential and parliamentary elections on set time.

Benghazi, 14 June 2022(Lana) Prime Minister appointed by by the House of Representatives Fathi Pasha Agha ,reiterated that his government has begun its work from Sirte ,and will protect the unity and stability of the country, and will seek to hold presidential and parliamentary elections on the time set in the roadmap.

This came during a meeting Pashagha held in Benghazi on Monday with the Italian Special Envoy to Libya , Nicola Norlando, and the Italian Ambassador Giuseppe Buccino ,during which they discussed the latest political developments on the Libyan arena.

A statement posted on the government SMS page said the Italian envoy praised the Libyan government's refusal to use force, and its assertion to use legal methods to carry out its tasks from all Libyan cities.

In the same context, the Italian Embassy published on its Twitter a picture of the meeting with Fathi Pashagha in Benghazi and said the two diplomats met yesterday afternoon in Benghazi with Fathi Pashagha without giving any other details about the meeting.
