Law enforcement force in the central region raids a den of kidnapping gangs in the municipality of Zamzam and frees the hostages.

Tripoli, April 24, 2022 (LANA) - The Law Enforcement Department of the General Department of Security Operations announced the liberation of (12) hostages of different nationalities after storming a den of armed gangs engaged in kidnapping, torture and illegal immigration in the municipality of Zamzam.
The administration said, through its account on "Facebook", that the Law Enforcement Force, Central Branch, stormed the place and freed the hostages, noting that the kidnappers demanded the families pay a ransom in exchange for their release.
The administration pointed out that it will strike with an iron fist anyone who tempts to tamper with security and will pursue criminal gangs relentlessly and will spare no effort to eliminate them.
