Al-Manqoush calls on States of Sahel and Sahara Community for unity to Confront Common Risks .

Tripoli, 30 March 2022 (Lana) Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Najla Al-Manqoush participated, yesterday, in works of the 21st session of the Executive Council of Sahel-Saharan States Community in Rabat.

Al-Manqoush opened the session's works by stressing the importance of the Community of Sahel and Sahara ‘Sen-Sad’ in achieving peace and security ,that included 25 countries of the African continent ,renewing Libya's adherence to its role in Africa.

Al-Manqoush reiterated on strengthening the community's bodies ,enhancing its effectiveness ,and Libya's readiness for the return of the community to function from Tripoli and embrace its work at all levels. Minister called on the community states to confront the common risks, foremost ,the organized crime of extremist groups that targeting many countries in the continent.
