Moscow, 14 February 2022 (Lana) Russia hopes that the new government assigned by the House of Representatives will be able to unite Libyans and prepare the country for national elections.
"Moscow hopes that the new Libyan government will be able to unite Libyans and prepare the country for national elections," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement.
"We hope that the new Libyan government led by Fathi Pashagha will be able to unite Libyan society, which will allow us to successfully deal with the difficult tasks of the transition, including preparations for national elections," Zakharova said in a statement published by the Russian Sputnik news agency.
