Youth delegation from Libya participates in extraordinary conference for development of desert areas in the northern Malian province of Azawad.

Tripoli, 3 February 2022 (Lana) A delegation from the Ministry of Youth participated in the extraordinary conference for the development of desert areas in the Kidal region of Azawad province in northern Mali. The conference is devoted to discussing ways of developing the desert regions of the Sahel countries.

The participation was a strengthening of the role of Libyan youth at the continental level, the delegation of youth from the Municipality of Awaal, led by Ahmed Mohamed Qanidi a leading official of the Ministry of Youth, as a representative of Libyan youth in the desert regions, participated in the extraordinary conference to discuss ways of develop the desert regions of the Sahel countries and strategies and solutions to the problems that hinder the development process in these areas. Youth delegations from countries (Libya, Niger, Algeria, Mauritania, and Mali) participated in the conference.
