A meeting of women's events in presence of Minister of State for Women's Affairs discusses preparations to celebrate International Women's Day,

Tripoli, 2 February , 2022 (Lana) - A meeting was held at the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts, which included the Minister of State for Women’s Affairs, Houria Termal, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts, Hanan Suleiman Al-Hassi, and a number of heads and members of women’s organizations from Tripoli, Benghazi and Misurata. During the meeting, they discussed and laid a basis for joint work between women's activities and women's support offices in government institutions and civil society organizations. The participants also discussed preparing for the celebration of International Women's Day, and setting up a programme to commemorate this occasion that includes a number of programs and activities. The programme to support working women and coordination to revive tourism programmes targeting women and the family was also discussed.
