Al-Lafi discusses with Megarha of Fezzan efforts to achieve national reconciliation and social peace among the Libyan people.

    Tripoli, 1 February 2022 (Lana) Vice President of the Presidential Council Abdullah Al-Lafi discussed with a delegation of dignitaries from the Fezzan region efforts to achieve national reconciliation and social peace among the Libyan people.

 He made the announcement during a meeting Tuesday morning in Tripoli. The meeting discussed the importance of establishing a clear mechanism of action, as soon as possible, to implement the national reconciliation project in accordance with legal frameworks that ensure its success, thereby contributing to the restoration of security and stability for the country. The Vice-President of the Council stressed Presidential Council’s commitment to render the reconciliation file a success, which is preparing the draft law of national reconciliation, to refer it to the deputies for approval, which enhances the chances of achieving this national entitlement, which will reflect positively on other files, to rebuild the state law and institutions.
