GNU Finance Minister confirms unified salary table draft law completed, referred Cabinet and then to the House of Representatives.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 1 February 2022 (Lana) Finance Minister Khaled Al Mabrouk confirmed that the draft law on the unified salary table for state workers was completed by the committee charged with by the Cabinet was referred to the Council of Ministers and then to the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives to be drafted into a law, and presented at the next meeting of the House of Representatives.
The Finance Minister pointed out, at a press conference held today in Tripoli with the Minister of Civil Service and a number of officials that the adoption of the law by the House of Representatives will achieve social justice among all segments of society, pointing out that the bill was studied at length by the committee and a number of financial and economic specialists and was placed on the website of the ministry to inform the public on its provisions, to expand the scope of discussion about it until it is crystallized in its final form.
The Minister of Civil Service confirmed that his ministries participated in preparing the unified salary table and addressing some items to speed up its referral to the Cabinet and then to the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives, explaining that its adoption by the House will contribute to the achievement of social justice for about 2.3 million employees in Libya.
