Head of GNU Government meets with a number of deaf, dumb and hearing-impaired protesters.

 Tripoli, 29 January 2022 (Lana) The Head of Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al-Dbeiba, met with a number of deaf and dumb who were protesting inside the headquarters of the General Authority of the Social Solidarity Fund.

 The Government Communication Office said Al Dbeiba listened to the demands of the protesters to activate laws that guarantee the rights of this group and the need to take care of this group.

 Al Dbeiba explained that the Government has set up the Supreme Council for Persons with Disabilities and pushed to hold its meetings. It includes a number of ministers and persons with special needs, and the Government strived to overcome all the difficulties facing the Social Solidarity Fund to perform its tasks and provide good services to all social groups, he said reaffirming Government intention to support them and provide all services to them and meet all their demands.
