Sovereign Institutions Follow-up Committee of the House of Representatives holds its first meeting.

Tobruk, 4 January, 2022 (Lana) - The Sovereign Institutions Follow-up Committee of the House of Representatives held its first meeting at the headquarters of the House of Representatives in Tobruk, Where the committee discussed during the meeting the status of its work mechanism. The head of the Sovereign Institutions Follow-up Committee, Faraj Abdel Malik stated after the meeting that the committee will start work next week and will prepare a report within twenty days from the beginning of its work, which will be submitted to the House of Representatives.

 It is noteworthy that the committee was formed by the decision of the Speaker of the House of Representatives No. (127) of 2021. It is responsible for following up on the sovereign institutions of the Central Bank of Libya, the Audit Bureau, the Administrative Control Authority, the Anti-Corruption Authority, preparing a report on its work during the period of division and monitoring any abuses in violation of the laws regulating its work .
