Re-opening of Passports, Nationality and Foreigners Affairs Branch of the Military Intelligence Department.

Tripoli, 30 December, 2021 (Lana) - The General Staff of the Libyan Army announced the reopening of the Passports, Nationality and Foreigners Affairs Branch of the Military Intelligence Department, after it was maintained and equipped in the office and provided with the necessary devices and equipment.

The Presidency of the General Staff confirmed in a post on its official page that the reopening of the branch took place in the presence of the assistant director of the Military Intelligence Department, the People's Commanders and some of the department's members officers and non-commissioned officers.

It indicated that this step comes to relieve the burden and hardships on the members of the Libyan army and their families, as well as the families of the martyrs, according to the circular of the General Staff.

The opening of this branch also comes within the framework of the administration’s keenness to maintain and enhance the level of comprehensive national security, and measures to protect all members of the Libyan army from any destructive activity that would prejudice national security, or affect the country’s higher national interests, except in dealing or granting entry visas to foreigners.
