 Tripoli, September 1, 2021 (Lana) - Minister of Interior Khaled Mazen met today, Wednesday, with members of the Higher Committee for Securing and Protecting Elections. During the meeting, they also discussed plans to secure the upcoming elections by the ministry's security services, in cooperation and coordination with the competent authorities.

The committee also reviewed, before the Minister, the latest tasks entrusted to it in this regard, and clarified the plans for the next stage.

 The meeting was attended by the Director of the Planning Department, Brig. Jamal Safar, the Associate Director of the Training Department and Committee member, Brig. Fathi Aoun, the Director of the Election Management Office in the Security Operations Department, Brigadier Tariq Al-Qamati, and the Director of the Planning Office in the General Department for Security Operations, Brigadier Adel Bu Jaafar.
