Al koni Discuss Migration File and its Repercussions on Various Levels.

Tripoli, 21 August 2021(Lana) Member of Presidency Council Musa Al Koni Saturday met Minister of State for Migration Jdayed Ma’toug Jdayed who in charge of the higher Committee for combating migration, and the Head of Anti-Migration Body Brigadier Al Mabrouk Abdul Hafidh to discuss the migration file and its repercussions on all levels.

Al Koni stressed need for unifying mechanisms of dealing with the migration file with other countries and organisations, within a vision to curb it, and to employ all resources to secure borders to combat migration and terrorism.

According to the Council’s Communication Office, the meeting was part of a tour the Member of Presidency Council intends to make, over the next two days, to a number of neighboring countries including Chad, Sudan, and Niger, to discuss securing common borders, fighting terrorism and cooperation in the illegal migration file.
