NCDC Registers 2364 New Coronavirus Cases 1652 Recoveries and 16 Deaths.

Tripoli, 20 August 2021(Lana) The National Centre for Disease Control NCDC issued an update of Coronavirus infections on Friday, saying it recorded 2364 new Coronavirus cases, 1652 recoveries and 16 deaths in the last 24 hours.

The Centre said it received 8054 specimen for testing on Thursday, of which 6745 turned out to be negative, and 2364 positive, a ratio of 26% of total tests.

This brings to 293532 the total number of Coronavirus cases registered in Libya, of which 77274 active cases, 212241 recoveries and 4017 deaths, since outbreak of the pandemic in March last year.
