Caroline Hurndall Says She was proud of Being Appointed First Female Ambassador to Libya.
Pulbished on:London, 6 August 2021(Lana) The new British Ambassador to Libya Caroline Hurndall has said she was proud that she would be the first British female Ambassador to Libya.
‘I am proud and happy to start work in the British Embassy in Libya in the coming weeks, in succession of Ambassador Nicholas Hopton , and I look forward to visiting Libya shortly to get to know its people and work with the Embassy staff, Hurndall said in a tweet.
The British Embassy has said on its SMS page that Caroline Hurndall has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Libya in succession to Nicholas Hopton, and said Ms Hurndall will take up her appointment during September 2021. .
