Minister of Economy and Trade discusses with his Tunisian counterpart ways to develop border areas and enhance trade exchange.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 30 June, 2021 (Lana) - The Minister of Economy and Trade, "Mohamed Al-Hawij" discussed with the Minister of Trade and Export Development in Tunisia, "Mohamed Boussaid", the mechanism of cooperation between the two countries in promoting and raising the level of trade exchange, developing border areas and activating transit trade.
The meeting, which was held at the Ministry's headquarters in Tripoli, also discussed the obstacles and difficulties facing businessmen and economic dealers in the two countries, working to overcome them and providing all facilities that contribute to the flow of goods between the two countries.
The meeting comes within the framework of implementing the recommendations agreed upon during the meeting of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid Dabaiba" with the Tunisian Prime Minister, "Hisham Al-Mashichi" last month in the capital, Tripoli.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary for Commercial Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Investment Promotion and Privatization Affairs, advisors to the Minister of Economic and Legal Affairs, Director of the International and Technical Cooperation Department in the Ministry, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs and Director of the Follow-up Office.
