Pulbished on:Tripoli, 16 February 2021 (Lana) - The Libyans will mark tomorrow, Wednesday, the 10th anniversary of the 17th February Revolution, as they are more determined and adhering to its principles in building the new Libyan state, state of constitution, law, institutions, rights and freedom.
In a commentary on this national occasion, the local affairs editor of the Libyan News Agency said on this national occasion that the gorgeous look in which the main squares and streets in various Libyan cities and regions were adorned with a celebration and joy of this anniveesary sends multiple messages and pictures confirming to the world the extent of Libyans' love for their homeland and their willingness to sacrifice to preserve its independence, sovereignty and unity .
The editor said that a decade after the February Revolution comes this anniversary as Libyans hope for a better and bright future that ends the state of war and fighting between the Libyan brothers, and ends the manifestations of, chaos, corruption and disagreements fueled by external interference, especially with the promising news of an agreement on an executive authority and a government of national unity, to unify state institutions, achieve national reconciliation, and lead the country from revolution to the state and to general elections expected on 24th of December.
The editor emphasized that the Libyan people's celebration of this anniversary coincides with Libya witnessing a historical shift in orientation from the revolution to the state accompanied by the determination of the people of the nation to move forward with the comprehensive national reconciliation, which is one of the most important pillars of building the civil state for which the February martyrs paid their blood and souls.
He said that the successes achieved in Tunis meetings, which continued in the Moroccan city of Bouznika, that were crowned by the Forum for Political Dialogue in its historic meeting in Geneva, with the election of the executive authority from a presidential council and a government of national unity, embodied the extent of cohesion between the people of the same nation despite the disagreements caused by foreign interference.
He added that the manifestations of joy and jubliation with which the Libyan people prepared this year to welcome the 10th anniversary of the February Revolution confirm that the stages of conflict have gone forever and that the expected government will have the burdens of building the state and coordinating the success of the general elections on 24th of December.
"We have embarked on the path of transition from the revolution to the state and we will not stop with the help and success of God and the insistence of the patriots until this path reaches its desired goal, which is to hold the elections on the 24th of December 2021," the local affairs editor concluded.
