Ministry of Labour to outsource Tunisian expertise in vocational training.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 4 February 2021 (Lana)The Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation discussed with the Tunisian ambassador to Libya Al-Asaad Ajili aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries and the historical relations between the two countries.
During a meeting held today at the Ministry's headquarters in Tripoli, the two sides discussed the possibility of using Tunisian expertise to support the field of vocational training, and cover the deficit in medical and auxiliary professions in the health sector, as well as in the fields of fishing, and agriculture and farming.
The meeting also reviewed the terms of the cooperation agreement signed between the Libyan and Tunisian sides, the ambassador was handed over a proposal for an implementation project for the agreement.
The two sides agreed to hold discussions on the electronic link between the two countries, and they also agreed to invite the Tunisian Minister of Employment to visit Libya.
The Minister of Labor emphasized the depth of bilateral relations, appreciating the stances of the Tunisian people and their support for the Libyan people since 2011, and welcomed the presence of Tunisian workers to work in sectors that suffer from a manpower shortage.
For his part, the Tunisian ambassador emphasized working to activate the agreements signed between the two countries. Noting that a Tunisian medical team will come for free treatment mission in Libya.
