Army Staff CoronaVirus Combat Committee Conducts Sanitizing Work at Lana Headquarters.

Tripoli 25 January 2021(Lana) The Director of the Libyan News Agency Abdul Baset Abu Daiya discussed with Staff Brigadier Mustafa Meri of the Army Chemical Protection Department coordination between Lana and the department in covering the department’s technical teams effort to sanitize public institutions to prevent the spread of CoronaVirus. 

The Army staff team has carried sanitation work inside the building of the Libyan news agency on Monday.

Meri said since the outbreak of the pandemic, the Libyan Army Staff has devised a plan to combat the virus that included training of elements and providing sanitation and equipment.

The work teams have carried out sanitation work at more than 400 sites including hospitals, schools, and Police stations, he said.

The Director of Lana said the agency was prepared to cover the activities of the Army Staff Chemical Protection Team, highlighting their effort to help prevent the spread of the disease.
