UNSMIL Expects Number of International Unarmed Neutral Observers to Join Libyan Observers of Military Commission 5+5.

Tripoli, 10 January 2021(Lana) The Libya Security Work Group
represented by the African Union, France, Turkey, UK and UNSMIL has
renewed a call for all Libyan parties to expedite the implementation
of the ceasefire, confidence building measures especially in regard
to re-opening of the coastal highway Abu Grain Sirte, and withdrawing
foreign fighters and mercenaries.
This came at a meeting organized by UNSMIL via video-conferencing
to discuss support for the Military Commission 5+5.
The UN Special Envoy to Libya Stephanie Williams hailed the
effort of 5+5, the progress that has been made in implementing the
ceasefire agreement including exchange of prisoners recently
conducted by the 5+5, resuming flights across Libya, full resumption
of oil export and proposed re-unification of oil installations guard
fore.
