Head of Information Corporation Holds Follow up Meeting With Lana Director and Senior Staff.

Tripoli, 23 December 2020(Lana) The Chair of the Libyan Information Corporation Mohamed Bayou held an extended meeting with the Director of Libyan News Agency Abdul Baset Abu Diyah, his Deputy Lubna Younis and senior editors to discuss upgrading work at the agency and enhancing its professional and human resources capabilities. Bayou said at the meeting, attended by the Corporation's Head of planning and projects Anwar Al Nayeli, that the Corporation was prepared to extend technical and otherwise support to Lana including training and recruiting young journalists and introduce modern technology to upgrade its facilities. The issue of re-opening Lana's offices overseas was also discussed whereby the participants agreed on the need for Lana to be existent in the regional and international arena and play its role as a national news agency. =Lana=
