Tripoli, December 21, 2020 (LANA) - Vice President of the Presidency Council, Ahmed Maitiq, met today, Sunday, with members of the "5 + 5" joint military committee representing the Government of National Accord. During the meeting held at the Prime Minister's Office, the members of the committee reviewed the steps taken to implement the joint military committee agreement. The members of the committee confirmed coordination to reopen the coastal road linking the east and west of the country through the city of Sirte, in a move that aims to alleviate the suffering of citizens and facilitate freedom of movement between regions. For his part, Deputy "Maitiq" urged the committee to continue working to implement all the terms of the agreement. ...(LANA)...
