GNA Defense Minister Discuss Implementation of Military Agreement With Italian Ambassador.

Tripoli, 17 December 2020(Lana) GNA Defense Minister Salhu Iddin Al Namroush yesterday discussed with Italian Ambassador to Libya Giuseppe Botcino the measures taken to implement the Technical Military Cooperation Agreement between the Libyan Ministry of Defense and its Italian Counterpart. A statement posted to the GNA Ministry of Defense website said this came at a meeting the Minister had on Wednesday with the Italian Ambassador at the Ministry of Defence headquarters here, during which the two sides discussed developments on the domestic and international levels. The agreement signed on Dec 4 was based on the Friendship, Partnership and Cooperation Treaty signed by Libya and Italy on August 30, 2008, and the Tripoli Declaration of January 21, 2012 and the subsequent MoUs covering issues like training, technical information, support , maintenance, consultation and exchange of expertise. =Lana=
