German Foreign Minister: Libyans Have Proved They Can Make Their Own Independent Future.

Berlin, 19 November 2020(Lana) 'Agreement on parliamentary and presidential elections in Libya on Dec.24, 2021, and a framework of selecting an interim government is another landmark on the road to peace and stability in Libya, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said. 'It is important that the new government is set up, for a smooth transition of power, Maas said, noting that parties to the conflict are invited to accept the outcome of the dialogue, thus their responsibility to the Libyan people. The German Minister demanded that the participants in the Berlin Conference respect execution of the arms embargo, and the full respect of the ceasefire, adding that Libyans have showed that they were capable of forming their independent and peaceful future. =Lana=
