Al-Mashri welcomes the holding of presidential and parliamentary elections by end of 2021.

TRIPOLI, 15 November, 2020 (Lana) The President of the High Council
of State, Khaled al-Mashri, on Saturday welcomed the holding of
presidential and parliamentary elections by the end of 2021,
coinciding with Libya's independence anniversary.
"We believe that this will be preceded by a referendum on the draft
constitution and we propose that it be held on February 17th,"
al-Mashri said in a statement posted on his Facebook account.
The President of the High Council of state stressed that Libya will
move after all the crises and suffering it has experienced to the
stage of stability on solid and solid foundations.
The participants of the Libyan Dialogue Forum in Tunis have agreed
to hold presidential and parliamentary elections on December 24,
2021, acting UN Envoy to Libya Stephanie Williams said Friday. At a
press conference, Williams said the forum participants also agreed to
"establish a new presidential council and an executive body to manage
the transition period."
