Death toll of two boats that sank off the Libyan coast has risen to 100.

Tripoli, 13 November, 2020 (Lana) The number of victims of the two
boats that sank Thursday off the coast of the city of Khomes, east of
Tripoli, has risen to 100 dead, the International Organization for
Migration (IOM) said in a statement on Thursday.
The Libyan coastguard and some fishermen rescued 47 migrants and
recovered 31 bodies, while the search for other victims continues,
according to IOM.
At least 19 people, including two children, have recently drowned
after two boats capsized in the central Mediterranean, while the NGO
"Open Arms" rescued more than 200 people in three separate
operations, the organization said.
The organization confirmed that at least 900 people had drowned in
the Mediterranean while trying to reach European shores, as more than
11,000 had been returned to Libya since the beginning of this year.
