Military Committee Chooses Sirte as its Headquarter and Agrees to Pull out Foreign Forces From Frontlines.

Ghadamis, 4 November 2020(Lana) The Joint Military Committee of
10 decided at a meeting on Tuesday to set up a sub-committee to
oversee the return of troops to barracks, and to pull foreign forces
from the frontlines.

Stephanie Williams said in press statements following the meeting the
military committee has decided to use the Ouagadougou halls in Sirte
as its headquarters.
The joint committee has decided to meet as soon as possible in
Sirte this month and agreed to monitor measures including
international observers and a mechanism of work of the security
committee in installing the security arrangements in the designated
area, Williams said.
The military committee, according to the statement, has agreed
that the headquarters of the sub-committee would be in Houn and
Sirte, and would hold its meeting shortly in Sirte.
It decided to hold its first meeting designed to unify the Oil
Installations Guards Force on Nov.16 in Al Breiga in the attendance
of Oil Installation Guard commanders and the Chirman of the National
Oil Company and UNSMIL.
The committee also decided to resume flights to the city of Sebha
and Ghadamis and to accelerate the rehabilitation of the airports in
the two cities, and to set a special committee to combat hate speech
in collaboration with UNSMIL.
The Joint Military Committee has called on the UN Security
Council to issue a binding resolution to implement the Geneva
Ceasefire Agreement.
