Sheikh Tamim Says Qatar Stands Firmly With Libyan People, Support Their Right to Choose Their Rulers.

Doha, 27 October 2020(Lana) the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani has emphasized that Qatar stands alongside the Libyan people and their right to choose their rulers, expressing hope that the ceasefire would last. This came at an audience the Emir had with the GNA Foreign and Interior Minister Ministers who arrived in Qatar earlier for a visit to promote partnership between the two countries. The Emir said there was not but a political solution to the Libyan crisis, and that the Libyan people could not accept foreign intervention from any country friendly or unfriendly. On his part GNA Foreign Minister Mohamed Siala expressed Libya's desire for a partnership with Qatar especially in the areas of electricity and renewable energy sectors. =Lana=
