Preliminary Agreement Between Libyan-Tunisian Joint Committee to Reopen Borders and Resume Flights.

Tripoli, 22 October 2020(Lana) A meeting was held at the Tunisian
Foreign Ministry headquarters on Wednesday between a delegation from
the Libyan Foreign Ministry including Mahmud Al Telisi head of the
delegation and others including the Head of Arab Department, and head
of consular affairs, and their Tunisian counterparts to discuss
prompt issues including re-opening the border crossings and
facilitating movement across the border for the citizens of both
countries.
The Government of National Accord said in a statement, a copy of
which was obtained by Lana, there had been a preliminary agreement to
put draw up a prompt joint health protocol, to be followed by
re-opening of air space between the two countries, to be followed
later by re-opening border crossings.
A number of intra-subjects were also discussed at the meeting
including accelerating the meeting of the Joint Committee.
