Tripoli, October 1, 2020 (LANA) - Yesterday evening, the President
of the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord, Mr.
Fayez Al-Sarraj, and the Algerian President, Mr. Abdel Majid
Tebboune, discussed the latest developments in Libya.
According to the media office of the presidential council, the
communication touched upon international efforts to achieve peace in
Libya, as the two sides agreed on the necessity of stopping negative
foreign interference in the Libyan affairs, and the importance of
dialogue between Libyans leading to legislative and presidential
elections as soon as possible.
The two sides also discussed the file of joint cooperation
between the two brotherly countries, as the Algerian President
expressed his welcome to Algeria's contribution to maintaining the
electricity network and sending an Algerian team immediately to do
so.
