GNA Foreign and Interior Ministries Discuss Problems facing Re-opening of Ras Jdeir Border Crossing.

Tripoli, 24 September 2020(Lana) The Security Directorate at the Ras Jdeir border crossing said officials from the Foreign and Interior Ministries have discussed problems hindering re-opening of the border crossing with Tunisia. The Security Directorate Communication Office said the meeting, which was held on Wednesday was attended by the Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry for Technical Affairs, and the Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry for security Affairs, the Director of the Security Directorate of the Border Crossing, and the Head of the Custom Affairs Department. The meeting was devoted to discussing the problems facing reopening of the border crossing and coordination with the Tunisian side to bring about radical solutions to this problem. Fair treatment for Libyan nationals at the border crossing was also discussed at the meeting. =Lana=
