GNA Foreign Minister Says Presidency Council Was All Along Keen to Achieve a Ceasefire and Resolve Crisis.

Tripoli, 10 September 2020(Lana) GNA Foreign Minister Mohamed Siala said the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord was the first to launch local, regional and international calls for a ceasefire and a resolution of the Libyan crisis. This came in a speech Siala made to the Arab League meeting delivered on his behalf by Libya's Permanent Representative Saleh Al Shamakhi. Siala said Libyan resources are the property of all Libyans and cannot by no means be surrendered, and demanded an immediate resumption of oil exports under the supervision of the Tripoli-based National Oil Company, and for the revenues to be deposited in a NOC special account. He called for comprehensive political arrangements to be put in place in accordance with the Berlin Conference results and good governance. =Lana=
