Algeria: Arms Embargo on Libya Contributes to Preventing Proxy War by foreign Parties.
Pulbished on:
Algiers, 9 September 2020(Lana) Algerian Foreign Minister Sabri
Budgadoum on Tuesday said his country was working with Tunisia to
host talks between Libyan antagonists.
Neighbouring countries including Egypt, Libyan southern
neighbours and Italy, Malta and Greece will be invited to the talks,
Bugadoum said in press statement. He called for commitment to the
Berlin Conference results.
Bugadoum said the UN resolution which banned arms shipments to
Libya is contributing to preventing a proxy war which, he said, some
parties were seeking to wage on Libyan soil.
