Egyptian Foreign Minister Discuss With Stephanie Williams Developments of Situation in Libya.

Cairo, 31 August 2020(Lana) Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri on Sunday discussed with the UN Acting Special Envoy to Libya Stephanie Williams developments of the situation in Libya and the UN vision for a political settlement in the country. 'The meeting focused on latest developments in Libya on the political level and on the ground as well as chances of reaching a political solution to the crisis, the Spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafedh said. The Foreign Ministry pointed out that Shukri had asserted Cairo's support for any steps that lead to calm and political settlement in Libya. It added that Egypt was keen to continue coordination with the UN Mission to push for a political solution in line with the Cairo Declaration and the Berlin Summit results. =Lana=
