Speaker of Tripoli-based Parliament Discuss With German Ambassador Means of Resuming Political Process.

Tripoli, 17 August 2020(Lana) The Speaker of the Tripoli-based Parliament Hmuda Siala on Sunday discussed at a meeting with German Ambassador Oliver Owcza means of resuming the stalled political process in accordance with the results of the Berlin Conference. The meeting was held at the Parliament headquarters here, was attended by the Head of Political Department at the German Embassy. The German Ambassador said he was interested in hearing what the Parliament had to say regarding means to resolve the crisis and a possible adoption of the Berlin Conference results as a basis for any managing the political process. On his part, Siala said the Parliament welcomes efforts to revive the political process and was committed to the results of the Berlin Conference, which it considered one pillar for the political initiative it announced few days ago. =Lana=
