Signing a military cooperation agreement between Turkey and Niger.

Tripoli, July 25, 2020 (Lana) - Turkish Foreign Minister, Moulod
Shawish-oglu, has announced that his country has signed an agreement
for military cooperation with the Niger state.
This agreement was signed during the visit of the Turkish Minister to
Niger, and held meetings with a number of officials, during which the
effects of the Libyan situation on the region were discussed.
During his visit, "Oglu" met the President of Niger, "Mohamed
Youssefou" in the capital, Niamey, and assured him that Turkey is the
best person to understand Niger's efforts to combat terrorism,
stressing that Turkey will contribute to the development of Niger,
especially in the fields of agriculture, mining, transport,
construction and energy.
In the framework of the visit, the material delivery protocol, the
financial aid implementation protocol, the Military Training
Cooperation Agreement and the Youth and Sports Cooperation Agreement
were signed, according to the Turkish Anatolia Agency.
It is noteworthy that the Turkish Foreign Minister, Moulod
Shawish-oglu, had started a visit to Niger on the 21st of July,
during which he met a number of officials in Niger, and he also met
the Nigerian Prime Minister, Bregi Raveni.
