The defense ministers of Turkey and Italy agree on the need for a political solution to end the armed conflict in Libya.

Ankara, July 09, 2020 (Lana) - The Turkish Defense Ministry said in a statement that the Turkish and Italian defense ministers agreed during their talks on Tuesday on the need for a political solution to the conflict in Libya. "We have gladly noticed that we have common and similar views on several issues," Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said in the statement, adding that security and defense cooperation between the two countries will benefit the Mediterranean region.
