Jordan's Foreign Minister: We refuse to make Libya an arena for regional and international conflicts and a political solution is the basis.

Amman, 22.06.2020 - Lana - Jordanian Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi,
Sunday, telephoned his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, to
discuss regional developments, including the Libyan file.
The Jordanian Foreign Ministry stated that the two sides discussed
during the contact the developments related to the Libyan crisis and
the efforts made to reach a political solution to the crisis.
The two ministers affirmed the necessity of joining all efforts to
solve the crisis politically by consensus of the parties of the
Libyan crisis as soon as possible, and in a way that guarantees
Libya's security, stability, sovereignty, territorial integrity and
the interests of its people according to the approved references that
include the Skhirat Agreement, the Berlin Conference and the Cairo
Agreement consistent with the Berlin Conference.
"Al-Safadi" stressed the need to make an effort that can cease fire
and prevent what could deepen the crisis by referring Libya to the
arena of regional and international conflicts.
