The Arab League hosts today, the third meeting of the International Follow-up Committee on Libya.

Cairo, 22.06.2020 - Lana - The League of Arab States announced,
Sunday, that it will host the third meeting of the International
Follow-up Committee on Libya emanating from the Berlin conference on
Monday, which will be held at the level of senior officials in
coordination with the United Nations Support Mission in Libya.
And the international follow-up committee on Libya held its first
meeting on February 16 in Munich on the sidelines of the
international security conference that took place then, while the
second meeting was held under the chairmanship of Italy in Rome on
May 14.
The committee aims to determine the course of implementation of the
goals and commitments contained in the conclusions of the Berlin
Conference, and to work towards unifying international efforts aimed
at reaching an integrated political settlement to the Libyan crisis.
An official source at the league said on its Facebook page, that the
upcoming meeting of the follow-up committee, which will be held via
video conference technology, comes at a very important time,
explaining that it will review the overall current military and
security developments in Libya, especially the situation of
escalation and field mobilization around the city of Sirt, and access
to the immediate calm that leads to the completion of the ceasefire
negotiations between the parties to the Libyan crisis under the
auspices of the United Nations.
