Russia and Egypt Foreign Minister discuss developments of the security situation in Libya.

Cairo, 22.06.2020 - Lana - The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh
Shoukry, Sunday, telephoned his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov,
to discuss developments in the situation in Libya, bilateral
relations between the two countries and a number of regional issues.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Counselor "Ahmed Hafez,"
said in a statement published on the ministry's Facebook page, that
the two ministers discussed ways to develop the existing cooperation
between Egypt and Russia at various levels, especially with regard to
intensifying political consultation and working to advance
cooperation to serve the common interests for the two friendly
countries.
He added that the two ministers exchanged views on developments in
the region, foremost of which is the Libyan situation, where
consultations were held on developments in the security and political
situation in Libya.
