Head of Presidency Council Announces Launch of the 2020 Humanitarian Response Plan for Libya.

Tripoli, 17 February 2020(Lana) the Head of Presidency Council Fayez Al Serraj has announced launch of the 2020 Humanitarian Response Plan for Libya in cities of Tripoli, Benghazi and Sebha, in the attendance of Minister of Local Government, and UN Coordinator of Human Rights in Libya, representatives of local and international organisations and a number of ambassadors. Al Serraj said the GNA Government will provide $10 million for the plan. He thanked all countries who have voiced their readiness to contribute to the plan and those who had already engaged with the GNA Government within the joint partnership effort over the last two years, as well as domestic and international organisations to render the response plan a success. The 2020 Humanitarian Response Plan is seeking a total of $115 million to provide support to those in need particularly the most vulnerable people. =Lana=
