Sputnik: UN Mission Set no Date for Meeting of 5+5 Military Committee for Libya.

Tripoli, 29 January 2020(Lana) The 5+5 Committee approved by the
Berlin Conference holds its first meeting in Geneva in the few coming
days, according to the Russian Sputnik News Agency, quoting a
high-level source of the UN Support Mission in Libya UNSMIL.
The source confirmed preparations were underway to launch the
talks between members of the committee which will bring together 5
personalities from each of the Libyan parties to the conflict to
oversee the security arrangements based on the results of the Berlin
Conference.
The Very source denied that UNSMIL has set a time for the meeting
of the committee, indicating that there can be no talk of
postponement of the meeting.
The 5+5 Committee will meet in Geneva to discuss the security
and military file, and one of its main tasks is to turn the truce
into a real ceasefire.
