Deputy Italian Foreign Minister: We Are Concerned About Growing Attacks Against Civilians in Libya.

Rome, 22 October 2019(Lana) Italian Deputy Foreign Minister Emanuela Del Ri has expressed concern over growing attacks on civilians in Libya. The Italian Nova news agency quoted RI as saying, at a meeting on Libya hosted by Italian Foreign Ministry, 'the Government of Italy is deeply concerned over increasing attacks on civilians which we condemn and which threaten to blow up the humanitarian situation. She called for respect of International Humanitarian Law. Nova reported that the humanitarian situation in Libya is dangerous especially in the South, where the lack of services and security make it difficult to deliver assistance. The security situation in Tripoli has gravely deteriorated because of the military clashes since April, it said. =Lana=
