Libya ( UNSMIL) expressed satisfaction over progress of municipal
elections that kicked off peacefully in 9 municipalities. It said
this signals a strong message for Libyans commitment to electing
their municipal councils democratically.
In statement on its tweeter account, UNSMIL said; 'We praise
efforts made by Municipal Elections committee in preparing for these
elections and look forward to work with the elected councils'.
